Historial Novels Review (Rude Awakenings review)
"Blending humor, love, and exploration of identity and destiny, Rude Awakenings is a colorful look at this genre. The ultimate question is answered:
can a 19th-century girl survive in a morally
confused world?"
Library Journal (Confessions review)
"Janites will adore the underlying P&P story and romantic comedy tropes, while all readers will enjoy the honest, nitty-gritty details of early 19th-century life."

The Daily Basics (review of Confessions, Rude Awakenings, & Sex and the Austen Girl
"Besides the books being totally delightful and fabulous reads, Rigler and Babelgum (a media video network) have married up on a truly remarkable idea. They’ve produced 20 2-3 minute episodes starring the two swapped ladies. ...Brilliant, charming and absolutely intriguing!"

JASNA News (Rude Awakenings review)
"Surely it is more difficult to surprise a modern reader with an entertaining description of a clock radio, a freeway, or a cappuccino (and it would be spoiling the fun to reveal her narrative descriptions of ordinary occurrences), than it is to reward our curiosity about Regency life. Humor is, of course, one of the immediate rewards for viewing the familiar with alienation. In addition to being funny, however, the historical detachment of Rude Awakenings, although it is set in modern LA, may make it more Austen-like than its predecessor."

Disfunction Magazine (Sex and the Austen Girl review)
"The two women humorously compare the differences in the love lives of women between their two different eras. Despite the playful treatment social taboos (like marrying your cousin!), "Sex and The Austen Girl" also explores the power of Jane Austen's words, even in the year 2010."
