Here are some photos of a reading I gave at the founding branch of the biggest book club in the US, the Pulpwood Queens, "where tiaras are mandatory and reading good books is the rule!" This is their headquarters, Beauty and the Book, a hair salon/bookstore, formerly in Jefferson, Texas, now in Hawkins, Texas. Pulpwood Queens' founder Kathy Murphy is the author of a delightul memoir called "The Pulpwood Queens Tiara-Wearing, Book-Sharing Guide to Life."
